MySepta is the only Philly transit app you'll need! SEPTA can be difficult to navigate if you're new to the city and this app makes it convenient and fast for new or experienced SEPTA riders

Design & Simplicity

Easily navigate SEPTA to wherever you need in this easy-to-use app. Gone are the days of a boring app without much design or attention to detail. I have used many of the Material Design specs from Google. This provides a fun and engaging experiencing while ensuring you can find what you need faster!

Speed & Favorites

One of the central features, when MySepta was built, was to make it as fast as possible. Creating favorites is the best way to cut down on your transit experience but even if you don't favorite your routes there are other features to assist you. The bus lines are searchable by bus number using the calculator pad. This reduces the headache of swiping to the bottom of the list if your bus is number 99. When you've selected a bus or trolley route, the routes are split into tabs that explain the direction of the route. You can also search both tabs by clicking the magnify icon in the top right

Live & Useful

All train, bus and trolley locations are mapped out for you along with their respective routes. For buses, you can toggle the traffic icon to see if your bus has issues because of traffic. Train View allows you to see all the trains and routes all in one filterable map

Underground Subway Schedules

Often you find that you're waiting in one of the subway stations not knowing when the next subway is coming. Other apps have to use the internet to retrieve a schedule and this isn't always possible underground. This is why I built a database stored on the phone so you can retrieve the subway schedule whenever you need it, online or offline

Talk to the Developer

If you ever have issues, there is a section in the navigation drawer where you can directly talk to me, the developer. Feel free to message me and I will respond as soon as possible. This works just like text messaging so you can talk about anything in a private manner and even send a screenshot! Permission Details

• find accounts on the device

This is used for push notifications for a later release

• location permissions

This is used as a service to aid in your schedules. No information is collected or stored regarding your location. Newer Android devices can disable this permission

• Read and modify storage

In order to use the subway schedules, the database needs to be copied to the phone and this permission is necessary for that

• Network and Internet access

This is used for many schedules and live data

• Vibration

This is used for responsive feedback on some long click interactions
