Muslim Wedding Dress

Many Muslim brides tend to choose traditional wedding dresses, and white. The bride from the Asian continent prefers shalwar-qameez which is dark red, ornamentally decorated with legs and hands with intricate and beautiful patterns.

Shalwar-qameez

Shalwar-qameez or Qamis / Kammez is a wedding dress traditionally worn in South Asian countries. It is popular in India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, whether it is widely used. Salwar Kammez is usually worn by Muslim men and women. It's popular as a wedding dress in many Afghan and Pakistani women.

A shalwar is a pajamas like underneath, and loose pants that extend across the thigh and waist, and taper downward, where it is sewn slightly on the very bottom. The pleat decorate it at the waist level, and held in place through elastic bands, or straps, or more traditional through woven wires, called 'Naada' or 'Naala'. There are different styles among female shalwars, from more traditional to contemporary.

Kameez

Kameez is a tunic or long shirt, with an open side seam. These sides, called 'Chaak' open to the waist line, for greater movement for the wearer. The traditional Kameez is cut flat and straight, with traditional side pieces, but the more contemporary kameez sport is made on the sleeve, which is inspired by European tastes. Traditional Kameez, for both women, usually has loose or normal clothing, though it is more common in modern times to see fashionable Islamic women wearing kameez who is a hugging figure.

Usually, a good kameez tailor will be recognized by a complex and beautiful stitching technique. Necklines are given special attention, because they are stitched beautifully to make them beautiful for the wedding day. Techniques that can be used to beautify the wedding kameez is like a necked bead, embroidered neckline, decorative neckline, and a simple and unadorned neckline.

Other Islamic wedding dress

Muslim women also love certain clothes for their wedding ceremonies. These include long courtesy skirts, beautiful beads or precious metal blouses, Jalabeeb or Burqa, which cover the full length of the body as this is a long outfit.
