Omani Calendar

The Omani calendar is an electronic application developed and

introduced by the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs in the

Sultanate of Oman. The application provides both the Hijri and

Gregorian dates. It also shows the positions of masjeds in the

governorate of Muscat.

The application also provides the option of setting up alerts for prayer

times. Moreover, the user of this application will enjoy and benefit from

the wisdom phrases that are available on the application.

In addition, the application provides the option of creating and

preparing electronic memos to remind them of important events. The

application also shows phases of the moon for every month as well as

Qibla direction. Another facility the application provides is Hijri-

Gregorian date conversion.
