ENTROPY 2099

The Grod, a mutagenic species of arthropod, have arisen. They are apex predators, feeding indiscriminately on all living things — including humans.

The swarming Grod home is a hive located in the very center of a meteor crater deep within what is known as "the entropy area." It holds the secrets behind the mutation and the biological calamity that has overtaken the world... and perhaps how to reverse it. Thus far, however, all attempts to penetrate the heavily guarded hive have ended in lethal failure.

But rumors have begun to spread about a woman clad in a black dress who wanders freely and fearlessly in the entropy area.

As more and more humans venture forth into the entropy area to explore, scout, investigate, or even just treasure hunt, a new occupation has emerged. People call them the “Returners,” those who return to their origins.

As a Returner, your job is to fortify your base, recruit partners, construct a viable war machine, and penetrate the Grod hive with your allies — unveiling the secrets hidden beneath this land with courage and cunning!
