Magakala Radio

Some of the community members were sitting down and discussing how they can help the community to overcome some of the community problems that affect the community daily. One thing that came into their minds was how they can organize entire members of the community together and address issues that affect their community lives negatively. They then finally came up with the idea that the only way to communicate with the community as a whole is through community radio. Secondly, they established community radio around Magakala (Moroke Village) on the 21st of January 2022 which was applauded and appreciated by the community and the tribal authority. That’s where the radio was named MAGAKALA RADIO. The radio is broadcasting 24 hours.
