The Baptist Church of Rio Grande, founded in April 13, 1968, has the vision DO GOD'S WILL.

Its mission is: Identified with Christ take the good news to the lost, in order to be restored by the grace of God and become disciples of Jesus.

This story takes us to the certainty that the Lord's hand was with us all this time. Remember these facts leads us to the understanding of the greatness of God's character and His infinite mercy. Like Job, we can say that before the knew only from hearsay but now, our eyes see Him.

And this revelation produces in us the desire to be the instruments by which lives will be reached and rescued by the grace of the Father, manifested in Jesus Christ. Instruments by which the Mission we established, will become alive and will allow us to "fall into the grace of the people."

Each of us was chosen to write with his life and testimony, over this chapter of the story of God's love for Shangrila Garden. Love that rescues the lost, turns his life fully and make him a disciple of Jesus.

The Lord of lords dedicated in gratitude for their care and loyalty, recognizing His sovereignty over our lives and the life of the Baptist Church of Rio Grande. To Him glory, honor, power and praise.
