The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics - IBGE is an entity of the federal government, under the Ministry of Planning, Budget and Management. It is the main provider of data and country information, that meet the needs of different segments of civil society, as well as organs of government federal, state and municipal.É the authority responsible for Social and Demographic scope of Statistics, Statistics Agriculture, Economic Statistics, Price Indices, System of National Accounts, Brazilian Geodetic System, Geographic Mapping, Topographical and Municipal, Territorial Structures, Natural Resources and Environment, geographic information, among other research. The aim of the application is the spread of economic indicators information, census data, price indices and news of the activities of the institution, for example to Brazilian citizens.
