Meshary Aallasi or Meshary bin Rashid Al Aallasi or Meshary Rashid Gharib Mohammed Rashid Al-Afasi, aka Abu Nora is the imam and the Koran of Kuwait International. He was born September 5, 1976 in Kuwait (11 Ramadan 1396 AH).

He studied at the Islamic University in Madinah (Saudi Arabia).

He could dazzle many of the great scholars after reading the Koran of Sheikh Ahmed Abdul Aziz Zaiat, Sheikh Ibrahim bin Ali Shehata, and Sheikh Radwan.

Currently, Meshary Rashid Al-Aallasi is the imam of the Grand Mosque in Kuwait.

All the Taraweeh prayers are conducted in this mosque.
